Auch nach circa 30 Jahren Rapgeschichte existiert es û das typische Bild
eines Rappers. Dazu geh÷ren Baggy, Cap, dunkle Haut, Tattoos, ein paar
Schusswunden oder zumindest Erfahrungen mit Drogen. Gerade Frauen wollen
so gar nicht in dieses Klischee passen û und wenn sie es versuchen, wirkt
es oft einfach nur peinlich. Nur wenige Female MCs haben es heute zu
beachtlichem Erfolg und Respekt in der Szene geschafft û doch nach wie
vor sind Kⁿnstlerinnen wie Eternia, Jean Grae, Fiva MC und sogar Lauryn
Hill eher Randerscheinungen. Am 7. Januar bringt jedoch ein neuer Stern
am Himmel der Mic Controllerinnen ihr Debⁿt heraus û die Rede ist von
Akua Naru, die derzeit in K÷ln lebt, auf Englisch rappt und ihr Herz gut
h÷rbar an Oldschool Rap verloren hat.
