█│ COUNTERPOINT, AKA SHAUL HADAR was born on november │█
█│ 10th, 1981, in Kibbutz Mizra, ISRAEL. started playing│█
█│ the piano and learning musical theory at the age of │█
█│ 7. learned mostly classical music,especially music by│█
█│ CHOPIN and LISZT the great piano masters, and also │█
█│ learned jazz for three years. except for learning │█
█│ musical theory for 8 years, also learned the drums │█
█│ for three years. plays the guitar and a little bit of│█
█│ bass guitar....:) │█
█│ │█
█│ Was part of a rock band at the age of 17 as the │█
█│ keyboard player with Vik Shefi AKA CYBER CARTEL / │█
█│ INTERGALACTIC,and also played as a keyboard player in│█
█│ the funk band GROOVE@RON. After the rock band had │█
█│ broken up, Shaul started writing electronical music │█
█│ in IMPULSE TRACKER,around 1999. afterwards he │█
█│ continued to investigate electronical music until │█
█│ sadly he had to go to the army, but during the army │█
█│ service, Shaul realised that his task in life was to │█
█│ write music and started working with cubase sx 3 ,now│█
█│ working on nuendo 3. │█
█│ │█
█│ After finishing the army service, Shaul signed in │█
█│ AGITATO RECORDS, and started working on his │█
█│ COUNTERPOINT project. Shaul writes mainly trance │█
█│ music, but also a lot of chill out and experimental │█
█│ music,and also some rock songs. has had tracks │█
█│ released with BLISS (THE RYTHMUS GENE), INTERGALACTIC│█
█│ (NAVIGATION), AQUATICA (EMOTION), and OOTM (UNIVERSAL│█
█│ GROUND). is currently working on his trance project │█
█│ and perhaps on another secret project ;) │█
█│ │█
█│ after playing a lot of chopin and classical music, │█
█│ counterpoint aims to blend the elements of melody │█
█│ with the full-on-trance music, and create new music │█
█│ atmospheres. │█
