Genius work by Walter Wanderley -- and rare too! This sparkling
set features the organist at his best, crafting tight little
bossa and samba tunes with care, using that streamlined organ
sound that he virtually pioneered at the time, and which works
so wonderfully with the album's short jazzy arrangements. The
set's got all the charm of his best work, with the added
presence of a bit of piano or chorus vocals on a few tracks --
and some very nice use of guitar and horns! Titles include
"Labareda", "Volto Ja", "Eu E O Rio", "A Mesma Rosa Amarela",
"Corcovado", "So Vou De Mulher", and "Poema Da Vida".
