From Luvinsky's incredible voice, which moves from angry or ecstatic
screams to fragile crooning in both English and French, from Marie
Boye's rock-solid bass and deranged backing vox, through Victor
Tricard's all-out guitar riffology and effortless way with a Korg, to
Joe Heffernan's pedal-to-the-metal polyrhythmic drumming, this is a
record you won't forget in a hurry. It's also packed with enough hooks
for a Justin Timberlake record (but with none of the cynicism).
