Release Notes :
Taking their detailed production sound to an increasing variety of sounds, 16
Bit Lolitas have marked themselves out as serious talents in the worlds of
tech-house and techno through their Bits & Pieces label. Now on the labels 15th
outing, the Dutch duo lead with the hypnotic, funk-soldered techno jam The
Grynd. Built on a deep, intense bassline, The Grynd adds layer upon layer of
groove before mutated funk guitars fire up the breakdown to devastating effect.
A twisted dancefloor beast, The Grynd should appeal to DJs across the house,
tech-house and techno boundaries, such is the power of its hypnotic groove.
Bringing a more experimental offering to the table, Adventures is a unique and
epic track that explores as many hidden avenues as its name suggests. A quirky
tech-house groove kicks things off, before an array of shimmering, psychedelic
sonics, hypnotic, processed vox and - eventually - stabbing deep trance riffs
add colour and urgency to the track.
