The Statesboro Revue was formed in March of 2007 after lead singer/primary
songwriter Stewart Mann returned from a stint in Los Angeles. On to the band
name, which comes from Blind Willie mcTell tune that was covered by the Allman
Brothers, who just so happen to be Mann's all-time favorite band.Aftre 2 years
and more than 600 shows The Staesboro Revue is running on all cylinders.
Solifying a line up that rivals the best bands of a time and a brand new
Grammy-winning David Z (prince, Govt Mule, Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang etc.) produced
album Diffrent Kind of Light, they don't appear to be slowing down any time
soon. In fact, according to them, they'r just getting started. This album is
extremely broad in subject matter and style, in musically and production.
StatesBoro Revue, a Southern Rock quintet from Austin, Texas..
