Despite its short tenure, Raffertie's Super Recordings imprint proves it means
business with a compilation featuring a host of the label's affiliated artists.
Featuring tracks from Skinnz, Subeena, Throwing Snow and Morris Cowan amongst
others, the seven track compilation is a bold statement of intent from the
label, filled with quality upfront bass music. Each track holds its own here,
each producer exploring their own avenue, but the album highlight comes in the
form of Throwing Snow's Align, with its jarring rhythms, sloping bass and
panoramic atmospheres.
