From the vanguard of LA's psychedelic beat scene, Sun Araw and Matthewdavid
collaborate on the outstanding 'Livephreaxxx' tape. As it goes, this is about the
heaviest tonne of head pressure we've encountered in the last minute, featuring
Matthewdavid engaged in deeply compelling remix dialogue with Cameron Stallones'
freaked out ghetto blaster tremors. There's no clear start or end point to the set,
for all we know Matthewdavid has just written some algorhythm which simply attunes us
to a swirling cosmic madness sound that's all around us anyway, but supposing he
actually did do something it's not far short of reaching inside Stallones' head and
rubbing the sounds inside with pure THC oil. This is absolute bliss in the most
f**ked-up way. Highly recommended!!!
