Purest halfstep riddims from V.I.V.E.K. 'Pulse' is like an enhanced version of
Deep Medi's classic first release, Kromestar's 'Surgery', with life-suporting
bleeps staying rocksteady over tectonic bass quakes. 'Roots' is more
atmospheric, creating a humid jungle ambience around fluid hardcore bass flow
while icy hi-hats and sub-continental percussion coolly keep time. Quality
plate.
