overview of Leadbelly's varied repertoire of folk, blues and ballads.
The bonus CD features many of Leadbelly's fellow musicians who were influenced
by his unrivalled repertoire of blues, ballads and minstrel tunes, which defined
the black American folk tradition. Some of those heard here played with him,
including Woody Guthrie, Josh White, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee. Others were
merely influenced by his treasury of songs and the intensity of his style. And
