Release Notes:

Dancing in the Moonlight was one of the songs of the 90s and catapulted
Toploader to international fame. Over the next few years both the
bandÆs albums achieved chart success but in 2003 the boys from
Eastbourne decided to take a break and since then the moonlight has
remained oddly dance free. Until now.

Reforming over a couple of drinks at guitarist Dan HipgraveÆs stag do,
the group are back with a new single, a new album and a new tour, and
are keen to move on from the song that defined them.

ôIt was the first time weÆd all been in a room together since it
imploded really,ö said singer Joe Washbourn. ôBut it was cool, we all
had a few drinks and you only remember the good stuff, you know? You
donÆt remember the fightsà And then it was like: letÆs play some gigs
and make an album.ö

Dan added: ôWe took most of 2010 to really think about what we wanted
to do, then came back with an album that was relevant for now. So we
see it as an extension of part one, weÆve just moved forward.ö

Enthusiasm for the music aside, itÆs been ten years since ToploaderÆs
biggest hit and the music industry itself has changed in that time. Dan
in particular admits to loving being able to communicate with fans via
social networking sites.
