░ Naked in the summertime, that's all that the band [ME] can think ░
░ about. Mostly based in Melbourne, the 4-piece neo rock outfit are ░
░ described as a chaotic musical explosion for your ears. [ME] have ░
░ been likened to the bastard son of Muse and Queen by Richard ░
░ Kingsmill Music Director at Triple J, becoming known best for their ░
░ 3 minute rock operas on a grand scale. ░

░ Following the excitement around the release of their debut single ░
░ Working Life in 2009, [ME] hit the festival circuit, performing to ░
░ audiences at Festival of the Sun, One Movement and Playground ░
░ Weekender amongst others. ░

░ Enlisting the talents of Producer Matt Voigt (Oh Mercy, Big Scary), ░
░ [ME] staggered the recording process at Melbourne at Sing Sing ░
░ Studios, taking in a tour around their Your Favourite Colour single ░
░ through August and September 2010. ░

░ In November 2010 the band were signed to seminal UK label Lizard ░
░ King Records (The Killers & Santogold). Recording and mixing with ░
░ legendary UK producer Simon Barnicott (Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys) ░
░ soon followed. In December 2010 the band signed with New World ░
░ Artists for Australia and NZ live performance bookings. ░
░ ░
░ Matched with stop-animation music videos, [ME] decided at the last ░
░ minute not to enlist a porn director for the Naked video, instead ░
░ teaming up once again with Andrew Goldsmith (creator of [ME]'s ░
░ previous music video for the Westward Backwards single), and Shelley ░
░ Farthing-Dawe. The outcome: Two totally different but awesome video ░
░ clips for the same song. ░

░ March 18 2011 marks the official Australian release of [ME]'s new EP ░
░ Naked via MGM distribution. The 4 track EP brings together the bands ░
░ spectacular blend of symphonic pop and stadium rock sounds and will ░
░ feature sound art, pulsating synths, and a Californian pool party of ░
░ guitar tracks. The band will be in the UK recording their debut ░
░ album along with playing a small tour in April and May 2011. Keep ░
