Overstanding is a showcase with Nishka and dub poet The
Exile on vocals. The LP features classic tracks like Jah
Protection, Freedom Fighters and Conscious Black Woman with
the dub versions featuring the spoken words of The Exile.
Originally only on vinyl the album was later released on a
two album CD by Greensleeves Records with the next album
Watch and Pray. Overstanding gave Alpha and Omega the chance
to release a vocal/dub LP before embarking on their next
classic dub album, Watch and Pray.
