Bambounou is a Parisian music producer. He dropped his first EP Animism this
week, and its been on steady rotation. His style is techy and tribal, and the
melodies and drum patterns are fresh and tasty. Their are some cool vocal
samples too, especially in Nappy Head. Also he got some amazing remixes from
the likes of French Fries and Art Nouveau and Dre Skull. In particular IÆm in
love with the French Fries remix of Nappy Head. They add a few unbeatable wind
synths, a uk funky/future garage feel, and a lovely rhythm. Cool bass drops
too.
