Release Notes:
It was in the year of 1997 and I, as cd customer
of belgian distro Uncle Underground, bought tons
of cds every month with this distro for my
private collection and I well remember when I
ordered a new release from young label named No
Colours Records. In that era I didn┤t knew Absurd
but as I was very impressed with the first NC
release, the mini album of Graveland "The Celtic
Winter", thus I decided to get more of their
releases. I remember I heard "Facta Lonquuntur"
for countless times and since then, I became very
interested by this band.
A few years later, when I was working with distro
services, I ordered 10 copies of "Thuringian
Pagan Madness" directly with Maciej Dabrowski┤s
(a.k.a. Capricornus) from label Capricornus
Productions.
More than one decade later, HAMMER OF DAMNATION
is proud to be a part in this legacy, bringing
back this classic of True German Black Metal, one
of the most important albuns from the true and
glorious 90┤s era!
This edition of "Facta Lonquuntur" features
completely new layout and never before published
statement written by The Horde Absurd in July,
2010.
Also features 7 bonus songs (!), some of them
taken from a live concert of IN KETTEN (the
camouflage for Absurd at that time) in the state
prison of JVA Ichtershausen, in June 1995.
Without a shadow of doubt, "Facta Lonquuntur"
expresses more than just music in this pathetic
modern Black Metal scene and its far beyond the
understanding of fetishists and internet
warriors! This is an important chapter in the
history of 90┤s Black Metal.
