▐█▒▒▒ and Dael Walker some years ago. As far as I understand, ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ John Everall is quite a 'busy-body' in the experimental ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ underground, helping some other labels out as well as ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ working on several solo projects like Spacemarker, Little ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ Annie and many more I probably am unaware of. You would ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ think initially that a person who works in a group titled ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ Little Annie would not play such dark music, but I need ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ not remind that there are still people out there in this ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ world who still understand the meaning of irony. What ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ Tactile accomplishes with their debut is a rather ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ intelligent conglomeration of electronic ambient ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ soundscapes and rhythmic noise collages. The tracks all ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ have a very bleak character, mirroring what at least one ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ source had so aptly described as 'landscapes bringing to ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ mind an alternate universe.' There are such landscapes ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ found on this recording, my very favorite being the ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ curiously titled '131' which does in fact work very well ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ to send the listener into some strange portal in ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ spacetime. Most of the material is composed of mechanical ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ pulses and looped frequencies with discordance and ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ drifting ambience stitching everything together. What is ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ important to note is how Everall and company carefully ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ incorporate silence into some of their compositions, ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ making it a perfect listening experience for the twilight ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ hours. I remember the first time I listened to this ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ recording it was pouring outside and how the dreary and ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ desolate atmosphere seemed to unify so well with the ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ sound to create an eerie and claustrophobic atmosphere. I ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ would think this kind of interactivity is necessary for ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ any kind of ambient music to truly work its magic. But at ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ any rate, while I cannot say that Inscape is the most ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ profound and unique entity out there - far from it ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ actually - it still quite a competent and inspiring ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ enterprise. Safe to say that those seeking to learn more ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ of the modern electronic dark ambient sound should ▒▒▒██
▐█▒▒▒ definitely keep an eye out for this quality band and ▒▒▒██
