█░█▒ Honeymoons was formed in the spring 1990 by four ▒█░█
█░█▒ young men at a garden party outside the drummers ▒█░█
█░█▒ house. Many things done under such circumstances ▒█░█
█░█▒ are forgotten the next morning but this was ▒█░█
█░█▒ something that really would last. Maybe because the ▒█░█
█░█▒ idea behind was so simple; let's make popmusic the ▒█░█
█░█▒ way we want it by ourselves. The first appearance ▒█░█
█░█▒ was at a party held by psychology students. Since ▒█░█
█░█▒ that was a success they decided to continue. About ▒█░█
█░█▒ one year later the first single "She's my herione" ▒█░█
█░█▒ was released. In 1992 Honeymoons participated with ▒█░█
█░█▒ two tracks on the first release from NONS records, ▒█░█
█░█▒ "Compilation one". In January 1993 the band ▒█░█
█░█▒ released their first CDEP "Honeymoons". On this ▒█░█
█░█▒ record the band played with three different ▒█░█
█░█▒ drummers since the original drummer had decided to ▒█░█
█░█▒ move and therefore quit. He was replaced by Magnus ▒█░█
█░█▒ ╓berg who played on the next CDEP "Louder", 1994 ▒█░█
█░█▒ and Honeymoons first album "Domestic", 1995. In ▒█░█
█░█▒ 1996 the band changed drummer again due to that ▒█░█
█░█▒ Magnus ╓berg was in too many bands at the same ▒█░█
█░█▒ time. Luckily a new hardhitting one, Markus ▒█░█
█░█▒ BΣckstr÷m, was found and Honeymoons second album ▒█░█
█░█▒ "This Coherent Excitation" could be recorded during ▒█░█
█░█▒ fall and winter 1996. In the summer the same year a ▒█░█
█░█▒ remix EP was made by Histrionic called "The ▒█░█
█░█▒ Histrionic Remixes", showing that their songs ▒█░█
█░█▒ fitted just as well in an electronic costume as ▒█░█
█░█▒ with the original guitarbased sound. In spring 1997 ▒█░█
█░█▒ guitarist Petter Sandstr÷m joined the band adding ▒█░█
█░█▒ more fullness to the sound. ▒█░█
