Anthropogonia- album features an ambitious collaboration with the Helsinki
-based choir WiOL led by choir conductor-mezzosoprano Jutta Seppinen. Music
written and arranged especially for the band and a 50-voice mixed choir by Juho
Koivuaho and Jussi Lehtinen is a unique combination of experimental rock and
contemporary classical music challenging barriers between these genres and the
ôhighö and ôlowö styles. The libretto in Ancient Greek is written by Ilmari
KavΘn. The album cover paintings and photography are done by artist Oskari
Tolonen (also a band member on percussion and synthesizers). Anthropogonia is
previously performed by Plain Fade and WiOL in two Helsinki concerts (Nosturi
and Stoa the Cultural Centre of Eastern Helsinki) in November 2009 and the
album will be released through Verdura Records in spring 2011.
