"Masoud Fouladi Moghaddam -- that's the full name of Andy Moor's latest
musical discovery -- and a highly talented one! It's been only two years
since Masoud first revealed his skills. In the meantime, his catalogue
contains stunning pieces like 'Blinded' with Laurie and 'Leave It All
Behind' featuring the stunning voice of Josie. This time, he's back with
a marvelous E.P. on AVA Recordings.
On prog-rocking masterpiece 'Here We Go', a familiar voice can be heard.
Hannah Ray, who already added some of her very own magic to the strong
tracks of Shogun and Tritonal, lent Masoud her voice, making the track
sounding bittersweet and dreamy. This effect becomes even stronger when
listening to the 'Ginatron Orchestral Mix'. The original's prog-elements
changed places with down-tempo beats, lovely orchestra-sounds and a
choir to back up Hannah's voice.
'Skyward' rides a sound quite contrasting to the EP's flipside. The
gentle build up of weapon of prog leads you directly into an addictive
synth-harmony, fading into tight beats and refined effects. Another
