Release Notes :
The second instalment of remixes from Stac's debut album yields another top
batch of soulful, funky and experimental nuggets. One of the album's highlights
- Stac's cover of Soloman Burke's "Cry To Me" - is handled brilliantly by Herma
Puma, who fleshes out the beatless original with soft yet funky loops, while
elsewhere LenAfrosaxon, King Knut, Blue Daisy and Scrimshire each work some
magic (check out the latter's uptempo soul rework of "Strainger" as a starting
place). The real coup is landing Ashley Beedle, who weighs in with a stunning
Detroit house mix of "Glory" that has to be heard to be believed.
