Biography
"tipped for big things"
Berlin's techno luminary DJ Emerson is
becoming a rising name in the UK with his
uniquely perfected techno edged workouts.
First introduced to the Techno Sound by Sven
Vath in 1996 'Simon Emerson Kidder' decided
it was time to ditch everything guitar / punk
and pitch full throttle for a pair of decks
and a mixer.
This decision was to see Emerson DJing on a
German club tour in 1999 and to be followed by
setting up his own techno stable called
'kiddaz.fm'.
The kiddaz.fm label homes the foundations for
Emerson's productions whilst he also remixes
artists for other labels such as Universal,
Alphabet City, DJ Sets, Bash, Leaded, Convert
and hosts the second function of kiddaz.fm -
the booking and promotion agency.
Emerson was first introduced to his u.k. label
Convert after completing remix duties on 'Namtrak'
- "This is what You Need" following this mix he
has become a Convert favorite continuing to
drive energy fueled floor grooves with an
increasing standard of production already
seeing support from the likes of Carl Cox
to DJs such as Judge Jules and John Peel.
The current Emerson DJ dates include gigs in
Russia, Brazil, Japan and all across Germany.
Whilst Djing and producing himself his
kiddaz.fm label also outputs releases by his
partner Holgi Star and artists such as Thomas
P. Heckmann, D.Diggler, Marco Remus, Len Faki,
Leandro Gamez, Asem Shama, Circuit Breaker...
He played in over hundred German clubs in his
five year long career and visited countries like
Russia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Finnland, Switzerland,
Spain, India and USA to spread his groove.
